I’m so grateful that I spoke to you in class,
That I was able to hug you on a bad day,
Or that you could say the goofiest things
And make anyone laugh.

I’m so happy that I could turn to you for
Answers to a worksheet, or a pencil, I'm
So happy I could whisper test answers
From five feet away and you would know
Every word I said.

I’m so glad I could see you when you
Where at your most beautiful, and that
I was able to snap a picture before you
Knew I had a camera.

I’m so excided that you are in a better place
With all your loved ones that have passed
But I still can’t wait to meet you there and see
Your beautiful face.

ashley was buried today (my birthday) and i couldnt count how many people loved her and cared for her. i still cant stop crying and i know she wouldnt want me to cry but i cant help but think about her face at prom. she was glowing, and i found out that AJ asked her to marry him when they went out to get into the car after prom. i gave AJ a hug and told him that he could call me.


We love you Ashley Danielle Rushing. i can't wait to see you in heaven
